Big Boost to Land Pooling: Industrialist Rajesh Aggarwal Offers 100 Acres for New Urban Estate

Ludhiana, July 28: In a major boost to Punjab’s Land Pooling Policy, leading industrialist Rajesh Aggarwal, CMD, TRB Group, submitted his consent for the development of a new urban estate on his 100-acre land situated along Pakhowal Road.

The consent was formally handed over at the Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA) office on Monday and the submission took place in the presence of Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora and Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain, who also serves as the Chief Administrator of GLADA.

Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora emphasized the Punjab Government’s commitment to promoting urban development through the Land Pooling Policy. He stated that Aggarwal’s participation underscores the growing trust in this innovative policy, which encourages landowners to partner with the government in urban development projects. He urged GLADA officials to proactively engage with landowners, encouraging them to participate in this collaborative initiative and become partners in the state’s development vision.

Rajesh Aggarwal expressed gratitude to the Punjab Government for the opportunity to contribute to this transformative project. He highlighted his efforts to raise awareness about the benefits of the Land Pooling Policy among his peers and encouraged other landowners to join the initiative, fostering collective progress in urban development.
