Chandigarh : Ahead general election a big jolt to Shiromani Akali Dal as Akali leader Pawan Tinu joins the Aam Aadmi Party this afternoon. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann welcome them. Tinu likely to be AAP candidate from Jalandhar.

AAP informed this through their X handle says, ‘Big blow to Shiromani Akali Dal. The big name of Doab politics, former MLA Mr. Pawan Kumar Tinu joined AAP. Tinu Ji is a big Dalit face of Doab area.’

Former Shiromani Akali Dal MLA Pawan Kumar Tinu has joined the Aam Aadmi Party. AAP may also declare him as its candidate from Jalandhar soon. Because after Sushil Rinku joined BJP, Aam Aadmi Party was not getting any big face from Jalandhar. Due to which the party can bet on Tinu.

The Shiromani Akali Dal has released the first list for the Lok Sabha elections on Saturday.

Candidates have been announced for 7 out of 13 seats, but candidate has not been nominated from Jalandhar Lok Sabha seats yet.

Due to the non-announcement of the Jalandhar candidate in the first list, it was once again discussed that there is a dispute regarding the Akali Dal ticket.
