Big Setback for Bikram Majithia in Defamation Case, High Court Allows Sanjay Singh’s Plea

Ludhiana: Sanjay Singh had filed a petition in 2021 before the Punjab and Haryana High Court challenging a Ludhiana court order that had nullified (set aside) the trial against Bikram Singh Majithia in a defamation case.

High Court Accepts Sanjay Singh’s Petition

The High Court, while delivering its verdict, has now accepted Sanjay Singh’s plea, effectively overturning the earlier setback in the case and reviving proceedings.

Court Orders Cross-Examination of Majithia

The court has directed that Bikram Majithia be subjected to cross-examination, allowing the defamation case to move forward with further legal scrutiny.
