JDU released its second list for the Bihar Assembly elections on Thursday. The list includes 44 candidates. The wife of Rajballabh, who compared Tejashwi’s wife Rajshree to a Jersey cow, has been given a ticket. Previously, JDU had released a list of 57 candidates. The party is contesting 101 seats this time. Candidates have been announced for all seats.
Chetan Anand, son of strongman Anand Mohan, has been given a ticket from Navinagar in Aurangabad. Chetan Anand was elected MLA from Shivhar in 2020. Nine women are included in this list, and four Muslim candidates have also been given tickets.

The first list released on Wednesday contained 57 candidates, including three strongmen.
Anant Singh has been fielded from Mokama, Dhumal Singh from Ekma, and Amarendra Pandey from Kuchaikot. 18 MLAs have been repeated in JDU’s first list.
Four MLAs have lost their tickets. Krishna Murari Sharan alias Prem Mukhiya, who won the 2020 election by the lowest margin of 12 votes, has been renominated by the JDU from Hilsa.
JDU is contesting 101 seats in the 2025 assembly elections. Voting for the first phase of the elections will take place on November 6th for 121 seats. Voting for the second phase of the elections will take place on November 11th for 122 seats. Results will be declared on November 14th.
