Birthday celebration turns deadly in Bulandshahr, 3 from BJP leader’s family shot dead

The brother, cousin, and nephew of a BJP leader were shot dead during a birthday party in Bulandshahr on Saturday night. The incident occurred around 12:00 a.m. at the RJS Fitness Gym in Khurja.

According to police, during the party, the BJP leader’s cousin smeared cake on the birthday boy’s face, angering him.

Dispute over cake spread, then gunfire erupted

According to eyewitnesses, an altercation broke out between the two parties. The accused, along with his associates, opened fire indiscriminately on the BJP leader’s brothers and nephew.

All three died on the spot from gunshot wounds. The accused fled the scene after the incident.

Former BSP leader charged with murder

The entire incident took place at the RJS Fitness Gym in Khurja. The main accused, Jitu Saini, was a former BSP city president.

Manish Saini (30), Akash Saini (19), and Amardeep Saini (32) were killed in the firing. Manish was the younger brother of Sanjay Saini, the BJP councilor from Ward No. 24, while Akash was his nephew and Amardeep was his uncle’s son.

Tension in the area, heavy police force deployed

Tension prevails in the entire area following the incident. Nearby markets have been closed as a precautionary measure.

A heavy police force has been deployed at the scene. Police are conducting flag marches with over 100 police personnel from 10 police stations. Strict vigil is being maintained by erecting barricades at various locations.
