Biting cold winds intensify Chilling weather, no rain expected

As on other days, the weather is clear today. There is no fog in the interior areas of Punjab and Chandigarh, although there is a light fog on the highways.

Light sunshine is expected today, even though the sun hasn’t shone fully for the past few days. Cold winds are blowing due to the snowfall in the mountains, causing a chill in the air.

This weather is expected to remain the same in the coming days. The winds are causing a continuous drop in both daytime and nighttime temperatures.

There is still a significant difference between day and night temperatures.

January is about to begin, but the winter hasn’t been as severe as in previous years. There is still a considerable difference between day and night temperatures. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum daytime temperature was recorded at 18.0 degrees Celsius in Bathinda, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 6.7 degrees Celsius in SBS Nagar. This clearly shows that there is still a large difference between day and night temperatures.
