A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate, Ajit Kumar, was allegedly attacked during a bike rally in West Bengal’s Medinipur district, leaving him and several party workers injured. The incident took place amid heightened political campaigning ahead of the state elections, further intensifying concerns over law and order during the poll season.
