Bharatiya Janata Party core meet on civic polls, candidates in focus

A core group meeting has started at the BJP headquarters in Panchkula regarding the Haryana Municipal Corporation elections. The meeting includes CM Nayab Saini, state president Mohanlal Badhuli, in-charge Satish Poonia, and National Vice President Saudan Singh from the center.

In the meeting at the BJP state office, National Secretary Omprakash Dhankhar, Organization Minister Phaniendra Nath Sharma, central parliamentary board member Dr. Sudha Yadav, Central Minister Krishanpal Gurjar, Dr. Kamal Gupta, and Rajya Sabha MP Subhash Barala are present as members of the core group.

Although BJP had already appointed in-charges for the preparations for the municipal elections in Haryana, after the announcement of dates, BJP has now called a core committee meeting. The meeting will discuss the selection of candidates, the list of star campaigners, and the election duties of leaders. After the meeting, lists related to the Haryana manifesto committee and star campaigners may also be released.

Minister Goyal is in charge of Panchkula and Minister Gangwa of Ambala.

For the Panchkula Municipal Corporation, Minister Vipul Goyal and former minister Kanwarpal Gurjar have been appointed as election in-charges. The responsibility of Ambala Municipal Corporation has been entrusted to Minister Ranbir Gangwa and BJP State General Secretary Dr. Archana Gupta. Meanwhile, for the Sonipat Municipal Corporation, Minister Krishna Panwar and District In-Charge of Hisar, Jawahar Saini, have been appointed as election in-charges.

Responsibility given to them in the Municipal Council and Municipality

In addition, in-charge persons have also been announced at the Municipal Council and Municipality level. Minister Gaurav Gautam and State General Secretary Surendra Punia have been made in-charge for Rewari Municipal Council. The responsibility of Ukalana Municipality has been assigned to Minister Krishna Bedi and BJP State Secretary Surendra Arya.

For Sampla Municipality, Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma and Rohtak Mayor Ramavatar Valmiki have been appointed as in-charge. While for Dharuhera Municipality, Minister Rajesh Nagar and District In-charge Kamal Yadav have been given responsibility.
