The milestone spanning a combined 8,931 days in executive leadership as both Gujarat Chief Minister and Prime Minister has been hailed by party stalwarts as a “powerful example of national service” and steadfast public commitment.

Modi’s achievement surpasses the previous record held by Pawan Kumar Chamling, the former Chief Minister of Sikkim, highlighting his extraordinary political longevity and sustained public mandate.

Senior BJP leaders described Modi’s tenure as symbolic of unwavering dedication to national development and public service. They pointed to his long journey in public life from state governance in Gujarat to India’s highest executive office as an illustration of continuity and focus.
