Kolkata: With the West Bengal Assembly elections less than a year away, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday unveiled a state-specific digital outreach programme to mobilise citizens and strengthen its campaign against the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC).
Website and Toll-Free Registration
At a launch event in Kolkata attended by senior BJP leaders and the party’s central observer for Bengal, Sunil Bansal, the party introduced a dedicated website — namoyavawarriors.com — for public registration.
Individuals can also join the campaign by giving a missed call to 7015900900. The initiative’s logo features Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s image alongside a map of West Bengal, symbolising the party’s mission to build a “developed Bengal.”
Campaign Objectives
A senior BJP state committee member said the initiative aims to mobilise citizens against the TMC government’s alleged corruption and promote the party’s vision of transparent governance and development.
The programme’s goals include:
-
Ending corruption and ensuring fair recruitment in government jobs.
-
Promoting safe campuses in colleges and universities, free from ragging and crime.
-
Eliminating cut-money syndicates in admissions and public services.
-
Reviving the state’s economic growth through investments, entrepreneurship, and skill development.
-
Creating local job opportunities to prevent the migration of youth for employment.
Political Context
The digital campaign comes amid intensifying political competition ahead of the 2026 Assembly elections.
Earlier this month, the Trinamool Congress launched its own digital outreach platform, ABdigitalajoddha.com, aimed at connecting with citizens online and strengthening grassroots engagement.
With both major parties now turning to technology-driven mobilisation, West Bengal’s upcoming polls are set to witness a highly digitalised political battle.
