BJP Punjab president Sunil Jakhar criticizes Arvind Kejriwal for announcing he will not appear in the High Court for a CBI appeal related to the Delhi liquor policy case, questioning whether it stems from fear or arrogance and whether Kejriwal views himself as above the Constitution.

Let us tell you that AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal refused to appear in the court of Justice Swarna Kanta Sharma in the Excise Policy Case.

In a post on X, Sunil Jakhar highlighted hypocrisy by asking if AAP’s Punjab government will similarly refuse to appeal a High Court order directing full dearness allowance and pending dues to state employees, contrasting it with the rule Kejriwal set for himself.

Jakhar invoked Kejriwal’s frequent use of “Satyamev Jayate” to urge him to face legal proceedings honestly rather than portraying himself as a victim.

Arvind Kejriwal not to appear in Justice Swarna Kanta’s Court 

Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has decided not to appear before the High Court in the Delhi excise policy case, expressing complete distrust in Justice Swarana Kanta.

In a letter to Justice Swarana Kanta, Kejriwal made it clear will not appear before her, either personally or through a lawyer. He stated that he has decided to follow the path of Mahatma Gandhi’s Satyagraha.
