Rajya Sabha Elections: BJP announces Ex-MP Sanjay Bhatia as candidate from Haryana

The BJP has announced its candidate for the Rajya Sabha elections. The BJP has nominated former Karnal MP Sanjay Bhatia. Voting for the Rajya Sabha elections is scheduled for March 16th.

Bhatia will file his nomination on March 5th. 57-year-old Bhatia is a Kurukshetra University graduate. He was born in Panipat district, Haryana. He has also served as the BJP’s General Secretary.

It should be noted that in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP candidate Sanjay Bhatia created history in his very first Lok Sabha election. He defeated his opponent by a margin of 6.54 lakh votes.

Sanjay Bhatia registered the biggest victory in the state’s 53-year history. He received a total of 909,432 votes. He defeated Congress candidate Kuldeep Sharma by a margin of 654,269 votes.
