Bobby Deol Begins Shooting For ‘Aashram 4’, Says ‘Ek Aur Aarambh’

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Bobby Deol and the team of the popular web series ‘Aashram’ have begun filming for the fourth season of the highly awaited drama.

The makers, Prakash Jha Productions, announced the development on Saturday by sharing a picture of a clapperboard marked ‘Aashram 4’ on their official Instagram handle.

“Ek Aur aarambh … Aashram ke naye adhyay mein aapka swagat hai. Japnaam. Aashram 4 now filming!” the makers wrote in the post.

The announcement triggered excitement among fans, with several users expressing their anticipation for the new season in the comments.

Bobby Deol Returns As Baba Nirala

Bobby Deol will reprise his popular role as Baba Nirala in the fourth season. The new instalment is expected to stream on MX Player, like the previous seasons.

The upcoming season will also feature Aaditi Pohankar as Pammi, Chandan Roy Sanyal as Bhopa Swami, Darshan Kumar, Anupriya Goenka, Esha Gupta, Adhyayan Suman and Tridha Choudhury, who are set to return to their respective characters.

‘Aashram’ Story Revolves Around Baba Nirala

Directed by Prakash Jha, ‘Aashram’ follows the journey of Baba Nirala, played by Bobby Deol, a self-proclaimed godman who uses politics, crime and blind faith to build a powerful empire surrounded by dark secrets.

The first season premiered on MX Player on August 28, 2020, followed by the second season on November 11, 2020. The third season was released in June 2022.

With the earlier seasons receiving strong audience interest, expectations are high for the fourth instalment.

Bobby Deol’s Upcoming Projects

Apart from ‘Aashram 4’, Bobby Deol has several projects in his upcoming lineup, including ‘Jana Nayagan’, ‘Teesvin Manzil’, ‘Desi Sherlock Holmes’ and ‘The Huntersent’.

He is also set to feature in an untitled film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
