Hands tied, deep marks on neck: Body of youth found near railway track in Rajpura

A commotion erupted late Thursday evening near the Mehfil Resort, along the Rajpura-Patiala railway track, when the body of a young man was found. The young man’s hands were tied behind his back, and his body bore deep injury marks. It is suspected that the young woman was murdered. The deceased has not been identified. Police have taken possession of the body and begun investigating the area.

Blood stains were also found on a stone near the site of the body. It is suspected that the attackers struck the young man’s head or face with a stone. Police also recovered a weapon cover and a broken mobile phone from the scene. The deceased had deep wounds on his neck, which were covered with a cloth.

The police have taken the body into custody. After an expert examination, the body will be sent for post-mortem.
