Bomb Threats Target 6 Jalandhar Schools, CM Mann also threatened

Threats have been received to bomb six schools in Jalandhar, a train bound for Delhi, the Legislative Assembly, and the statue of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Two threatening emails were sent under the name “Khalistan National Army.” The first email specifically mentioned APJ School, Delhi Public School (DPS), one other school, the Legislative Assembly, and the Ambedkar statue. The second email, meanwhile, named the CT Group, Akal Academy, and St. Soldier Divine School.

The emails contained a threat to remove all Ambedkar statues located within the Jalandhar district. The sender stated that a deadline of April 14 has been set for this purpose. The message warned that if the statues are not removed by this deadline, everything, including the statues, will be destroyed by bombs.

Upon receiving these threatening emails, the schools immediately alerted the police. Police personnel have since arrived at APJ School to conduct an investigation.

Timing for blast specified 

The emails specified the timings for the attacks: 1:11 PM for bombing the schools, 2:11 PM for the Legislative Assembly, and 9:11 PM for the Delhi-bound train. The messages explicitly stated that these actions are intended as retaliation for the massacre of Sikhs.

What threatening email said?

The emails asserted that since Ambedkar referred to Sikhs as Hindus, his statues, wherever they are found, will be vandalized or blown up with explosives. The messages declared that on April 14, everything will be destroyed by bombs. The emails further warned that CM Mann would be killed just as Beant Singh was.
