New Delhi: Former Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) has welcomed China’s backing of the BRICS declaration against terrorism, describing the development as a “slap in the face for Pakistan.”
The remarks came after BRICS countries adopted the New Delhi Declaration, which strongly condemned terrorism in all its forms and reaffirmed the grouping’s commitment to combating terrorism.
The former J&K DGP said China’s support for the declaration was significant, particularly in the context of India’s longstanding concerns over cross-border terrorism.
