The deceased have been identified as 25-year-old Pullakhandam Meghna Rani (a resident of Garla Mandal) and 24-year-old Kadiyala Bhavana (Mulkanur village, Mahabubabad district).

Meghna and Bhavana had gone to the US for higher education about three years ago. They were reportedly in the final stages of their master’s degree and were looking for jobs.
The accident occurred when the two were traveling with their friends. According to reports, their car lost control near Alabama Hills, veered off the road, and plunged into a deep ravine.
