Car catches fire after collision with truck in Kurukshetra; Kaithal ADA dies

A truck and a car collided at around midnight near Khanpur village on Dhand Road in Kurukshetra. The impact was so severe that the car caught fire, and one youth died from burn injuries, while the other was seriously injured.

The deceased youth was identified as Ravindra, a resident of Hathira village and an ADA officer in Kaithal.

The other youth, identified as Kamal from Barna village, was transferred from LNJP Civil Hospital to a private hospital that night.

It is reported that the young men in the car were traveling towards Kurukshetra when they collided with the truck. Following the accident, traffic jams formed on both sides, prompting police and fire brigade personnel to arrive.

After considerable effort, both youths were transported to the Civil Hospital by Dial 112 vehicle, where Ravindra was declared dead. The car was severely burned in the accident. Traffic could resume only after the fire was brought under control.
