In Ludhiana, a car went out of control, climbed onto the pavement, and hit the railing, injuring 4 people. The accident happened when a person tried to cross the road without using the zebra crossing. The incident happened at around 10 pm last night in Khanna on the Amritsar-Delhi highway.
The driver of the Verna car, coming from Ludhian,a turned the steering to save the person. The car went out of control, climbed onto the pavement, and hit the railing. The broken part of the railing fell on a taxi going on the other side. This taxi was going from Delhi to Kashmir.
There was a jam after the accident
In the accident, Verna’s car driver, Gurdeep Singh (Patiala), his uncle, taxi driver Abdul (Kashmir), and the person crossing the road were injured. All the injured have been admitted to Khanna Civil Hospital. According to doctors, everyone’s condition is stable.
After the incident, there was a jam on the highway. Police reached the spot and controlled the situation. Police said that this incident shows the dangers of ignoring road safety rules. Pedestrians should always use zebra crossings or foot overbridges, and drivers should maintain speed.
