Himachal Pradesh: The incident occurred around midnight when the victims were returning home from Tattapani. Their vehicle lost control and plunged nearly 300 metres into a deep gorge. The impact was so severe that the car was completely wrecked.

Victims Identified

The deceased have been identified as Sunil Kumar (25), a resident of Sauthal Mahunag, and Pawan Kumar, a resident of Kethu Mahunag in Mandi district.

Rescue Operation and Police Action

After receiving information, police teams and local authorities rushed to the spot. Following a difficult rescue operation, both bodies were retrieved from the ravine and sent for post-mortem.

Probe Underway

DSP Karsog Chand Kishore confirmed the incident, stating that a detailed investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
