Amritsar: A dispute over car removal in Amritsar, Punjab, escalated into a bloody clash, claiming the life of a young man. Two brothers attacked Vicky with swords outside the MGM Hotel on Sunday night. He was seriously injured and died in the attack. Police have seized CCTV footage from the scene and have begun investigating the case.
According to the deceased’s wife, Poonam, the dispute began Sunday morning when neighbors asked him to park his car on the side of the road. The neighbors had to clean the area, which led to an altercation between the two parties. This minor dispute gradually escalated, and by nightfall, it escalated into a violent clash.
Vicky, originally from Batala, lived in the Gilwali Gate area of Amritsar with his wife and two daughters, aged 5 and 7.
Argument started when asked to move the car
Vicky’s wife, Poonam, said that on Sunday morning, neighbors asked them to park the car on the side. They said they had to clean the area. This sparked an argument between the two parties, which later escalated into a fight.
According to Poonam, the matter was initially minor, but gradually escalated, and the two parties came face to face.
