Chaos erupted at Amritsar Airport when a SpiceJet flight was delayed by nearly 17 hours. Frustrated by the long wait, passengers demanded a refund and an alternative flight from the airline.

Amritsar: As part of the ongoing anti-drug campaign in Amritsar district, Bhindi Saidan police arrested a young man and recovered 507 grams of opium from his possession during a routine patrol. According to the police, Head Constable Pragat Singh and his team were patrolling near the bridge on the main road close to Punga village.
