CBI Uncovers Foreign Links of Former Punjab DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar in Bribery Case

Chandigarh: Foreign connections of former DIG of Punjab’s Ropar Range, Harcharan Singh Bhullar, who was arrested in a bribery case, have surfaced. It is reported that Bhullar traveled to Dubai approximately 10 times while on duty. The CBI has seized Bhullar’s passport and is using it to gather details of his foreign trips.

According to official CBI sources, Bhullar has so far been identified as having two flats in Dubai and three in Canada. Furthermore, the CBI has also obtained information about approximately 55 acres of land in Ludhiana and 20 shops in the Machhiwara area. The CBI suspects that Bhullar also acquired assets abroad during his tenure.

CBI sources say the agency is now investigating the source of all these assets and whether they were purchased in someone else’s name. More revelations about Bhullar’s assets are likely in the coming days.
