Indore (MP): This year, there has been some confusion among people regarding the celebration of Deepawali. The festival falls over two days this time, beginning on the afternoon of October 31st and continuing until the evening of November 1st. Many were uncertain about when the primary celebration should occur—on October 31st or November 1st.
This confusion has now been clarified by the Bharti Hindu Mahasabha. A meeting of the Hindu Dharm Sabha took place today in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, where religious leaders and astrologers gathered to discuss the matter. They unanimously agreed that Deepawali will be celebrated across the country on November 1st. The Dharm Sabha has officially announced that the festival of lights will be observed on this date.
In Ayodhya, the temple committee and religious leaders have decided to celebrate Deepawali on November 1. Pandit Vinayak Pandey announced that this celebration will take place where Ramlala is located. Since it is being celebrated in Ayodhya, it will also be observed in Indore on the same day.
Ashok Bhatt, the chief priest of Khajrana Ganesh Temple, emphasized that November 1 is the optimal choice. This decision has been supported by everyone involved. On November 1, Amavasya occurs at sunrise and continues for half an hour after sunset. An appeal is made to all traders, businessmen, and the general public to celebrate Deepawali on this day. The celebration is expected to be observed throughout the country as well.
