Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently shared photos on Instagram featuring his father, renowned screenwriter Salim Khan, alongside Salim’s first bike.
On Thursday, Salman posted two images: one showing him gazing at his father as he sits on the bike, and another of Salman himself perched on the bike, looking off-camera. Despite the passage of time, Salman’s charm continues to shine through, a fact that led to him being voted as People magazine’s “sexiest man alive” in the past.
In his post, Salman captioned the images: “Dad’s 1st bike, Triumph Tiger 100, 1956.” Salim Khan, part of the iconic writing duo Salim-Javed, significantly impacted Hindi cinema, helping to shape the career of film legend Amitabh Bachchan with the “Angry Young Man” archetype.
After his partnership with Javed Akhtar ended, Salim stepped back from the limelight, while Javed continued to thrive in the industry, contributing scripts and lyrics to many hit films. The next generation has also made their mark, with Salman becoming one of India’s leading stars and Javed’s children, Farhan and Zoya Akhtar, recognized as top filmmakers.
On the professional front, Salman will star in ‘Sikandar’, alongside Rashmika Mandanna from ‘Pushpa’, directed by AR Murugadoss, known for films like ‘Ghajini’ and ‘Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty’. The project, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, is set for release on Eid 2025, a traditional date for Salman’s releases.
