New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved a one-year extension in the service of Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan.
Allowing him to continue in the post till August 22, 2027. According to an official order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday, Govind Mohan, a 1989-batch IAS officer of the Sikkim cadre, has been granted an extension beyond his scheduled retirement date of August 22, 2026.
The order stated that the extension has been approved for one year, up to August 22, 2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
