Chandigarh: Woman constable slapped nurse, clash broke out at police checkpoint.

There was a lot of commotion between the girls going on Activa, and the female police personnel at the police checkpoint set up in Sector-38A, Chandigarh. During this, the female police officer allegedly slapped a nurse. After this, the nurse also clashed with the female police officer. The Sector-39 police station was checking the vehicles at the checkpoint.

During this, all the vehicles were being checked in Sector-38A. At the same time, 3 girls were coming on a scooter, whom the police stopped for riding triple and asked for the documents of the scooter. Then a girl started arguing with the police. During this, the female constable slapped a nurse girl going on duty while talking. After this, the people standing nearby intervened and separated the two.

A person present there recorded the entire incident on his mobile phone and made it viral. The victim nurse alleged that a female constable posted at the police checkpoint slapped her, and a policeman snatched and broke her mobile phone. The girls alleged that the policemen smoked cigarettes on the road and misbehaved.

Meanwhile, the family members of the girls also reached the checkpoint and started arguing with the policemen. Police say that the father of these girls had been drinking alcohol. When the police said that their father had been drinking alcohol, the argument escalated. In the video, the nurse is seen saying that she will not tolerate the police’s misbehavior. She will present her case before the officials of the police headquarters in Sector 9. The girls are repeatedly saying how the female constable slapped them.
