    Chandigarh Gets More Summer Special Trains, Relief for Passengers

    Chandigarh: In view of the increasing passenger rush during the summer season, the Ambala Division has decided to increase the frequency of summer special trains. This will provide significant relief to passengers travelling to Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand. According to the Railways, the operation of Chandigarh–Patna (04511-12) and Ambala–Mau (05301-02) trains has been extended until July 17. These trains will run once a week.

    Train number 04511 will depart from Chandigarh every Thursday at 11:35 pm and arrive in Patna at 9:15 pm the next day. Return train number 04512 will depart from Patna every Friday at 11:15 pm and arrive in Chandigarh at 9:40 pm the next day. This train will run via Ambala Cantt, Saharanpur, Roorkee, Moradabad, Bareilly, Sitapur, Gonda, Basti, Gorakhpur, Siwan, Chhapra, and Hajipur. It will operate until July 10.

    Dhanbad-Chandigarh Special Train (03311/03312) will also continue. Train number 03311 will depart from Dhanbad every Tuesday and Friday at 11:50 pm and arrive in Chandigarh at 4:30 am the third day. Return train number 03312 will depart from Chandigarh on Sundays and Thursdays at 6 am and arrive in Dhanbad at 9 am the next day. This train will cover a distance of approximately 1431 kilometers in 28 hours and 40 minutes.

    The Ambala-Mau Special (05301/05302) will also continue to operate. 05302 will depart from Ambala every Friday at 1:40 am and arrive in Mau at 11 pm the next day, while 05301 will depart from Mau every Thursday at 4 am and arrive in Ambala at 12:30 am the next day. This train will run via Deoria, Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda, Sitapur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Ghaziabad, Delhi, Sonipat, Panipat, and Kurukshetra.

    According to railway officials, the frequency of these trains has been increased for passenger convenience and crowd management, making travel more comfortable.
