Chandigarh: The market in Chandigarh’s posh Sector 11 area was rocked on Friday when armed miscreants entered a medical store and opened fire. The attackers directly targeted the cashier sitting at the counter and fired several shots at him.

Hospitalized, condition critical

The injured cashier was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. Initial rumors suggested his death, but the police have clarified that he is alive and in critical condition.

Three criminals arrived on a motorcycle

According to reports, three criminals arrived at the market on a motorcycle. Two of the accused entered the medical store, while the third remained outside, keeping watch.
