Changes in Rajasthan from April 1st: Tolls to increase, timings to change

Jaipur – Several important changes are set to be implemented in Rajasthan from April 1st. OPDs at government hospitals will now operate from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, while on holidays, they will operate from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

With the start of the new session, government school timings will also change. Single-shift schools will operate from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM, and double-shift schools from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Anganwadi centers will also operate from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

New Safari and Elephant Ride Timings
Ranthambhore Tiger Safari timings have also been changed. The morning safari will be from 6 am to 9:30 am, and the evening safari will be from 3 pm to 6:30 pm.

The elephant ride timings in Amer, Jaipur, have been reduced to 7 am to 10:30 am, from 11:30 am previously.

Highway Toll Increase
NHAI has increased toll rates by 5 to 20 rupees on several national highways connecting Jaipur. These include the Jaipur-Delhi Highway, Jaipur-Kishangarh, Jaipur-Sikar, and Jaipur-Dausa routes.

However, car drivers have been given relief, and their tolls have not been increased. However, the annual pass price has been increased by 75 rupees.
