VD Satheesan, elected as the Chief Minister of Kerala, has announced the names of the ministers in the new cabinet. The ministers will be sworn in alongside him at the swearing-in ceremony on Monday.
Several senior Congress leaders included
Ramesh Chennithala, KPCC chief Sunny Joseph, and K Muraleedharan have been appointed ministers in the new cabinet.
In addition, Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan will be appointed Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, while Shanimol Usman will serve as Deputy Speaker.
IUML gets five ministerial posts
Congress ally Indian Union Muslim League has also announced the names of its ministers.
Party chief Panakkad Sadik Ali Shihab Thangal said that five party leaders will be appointed ministers in the new government.
