In an intelligence-led operation, the Counter intelligence team arrested an assailant named Simranjeet Bablu. Simranjeet Singh is a member of Babbar Khalsa International. The information has been shared by Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav on his X handle.
Simranjeet Bablu, a member of (BKI) was involved in the fatal shooting of former terrorist Rattandeep Singh on April 3, 2024 in SBS Nagar.
The module was operated by Pakistan-based terrorist Harwinder Rinda & USA-based Gopi Nawanshehria. Police have also recovered sophisticated weapons along with a huge cache of ammunition.
