CJP Announces September 5 March From India Gate to Delhi Police HQ

New Delhi: The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has announced a march from India Gate to Delhi Police Headquarters on September 5. According to the organization, the march will include the families of deceased NEET exam victims and those affected by alleged police brutality. The CJP alleges that the central government has not yet fulfilled its promises made on July 25.

Accuses the government of failing to fulfill its promises to the youth

The CJP’s National Executive Committee met on August 24 to discuss its future strategy. The organization says that assurances such as withdrawing or canceling FIRs filed against students and protesters and providing compensation to the families of deceased NEET exam victims have not been fulfilled.

Demand for a complete list of FIRs

The CJP alleged that the government has not made a clear commitment to providing the Supreme Court with a detailed list of FIRs filed across the country against students and protesters. According to the organization, upon receiving this list, the Supreme Court could exercise its special powers under Article 142 of the Constitution to quash the FIR.

Questions also raised about the state of government schools

CJP founder Abhijeet Deepak sent a letter to all state education ministers on Monday, requesting state-wise data on government schools. This included information on school infrastructure, teacher vacancies, funding, drinking water, and the condition of classrooms.

Deepak urged states to give “immediate priority” to the state of the government education system.

Threat of resuming the movement

CJP co-convenor Saurav Das and legal affairs head Ratna Singh accused the government of “betraying” the youth. The organization stated that all avenues remain open to fulfilling its promises.

CJP has warned of starting a peaceful movement once again across the country if needed and has asked students and youth to be prepared for the upcoming action.
