CJP Joins Jharkhand Students’ Protest in Ranchi, Vows Full Support

Ranchi: The Citizens’ Justice Party (CJP) on Saturday joined the ongoing student protest in Ranchi over alleged irregularities in Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) examinations, expressing solidarity with the protesting students and promising to provide all forms of support.

CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka said the organisation stood in “complete solidarity” with the students and their demands. A delegation led by Mukesh and Akshay Shinde reached the protest site in Ranchi as the agitation continued.

CJP Extends Support to Protesting Students

The CJP delegation interacted with the protesting students and assured them of support in their ongoing campaign.

The development comes as the student agitation against alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations has entered its 15th day. The protesters have been demanding action from the Jharkhand government and seeking measures to ensure transparency in the examination and recruitment process.

Ranka said the delegation would provide “all forms of support” to the students as they continue their protest.

JPSC-JSSC Exam Row Intensifies

The students have been raising several demands, including action over alleged examination irregularities and cancellation of examinations in cases where they believe serious lapses have occurred.

The prolonged agitation has already led to multiple rounds of talks between student representatives and the Jharkhand government. Following the second round of discussions, student representatives said the government had seriously considered their demands but maintained that the protest would continue until concrete action was taken.

The issue has also reached the Supreme Court, adding a legal dimension to the continuing agitation.

Protest Continues Despite Government Talks

The Jharkhand government has held discussions with protesting students in an effort to resolve the standoff. However, the students have maintained that they will continue their agitation until their demands are addressed.

The CJP’s arrival at the protest site comes after its leaders had earlier expressed support for the Jharkhand students’ movement. The organisation had also announced plans to send a delegation to Ranchi to back the protesters.

With the protest continuing and support from various groups growing, attention remains focused on the Jharkhand government’s next steps and the outcome of the ongoing legal proceedings.
