New Delhi: Supporters of the CJP continued their protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar for the third consecutive day on Monday. The agitation, led by founder Abhijeet Dipke, has centered on allegations of irregularities in competitive examinations, including the NEET-UG paper leak issue. Protesters remained at the site overnight and reiterated their commitment to continue the movement.

Key Demands of the Protesters

The protesters are demanding accountability over alleged examination-related lapses and have called for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The movement has also raised concerns about transparency in competitive examinations and reforms in the education system.

Candlelight Vigil Planned

As the protest entered its third day, organizers announced a candlelight vigil to express solidarity with students affected by examination controversies. Protest leaders said the demonstration would remain peaceful while continuing to press for action on their demands.

Allegations of Restrictions at Protest Site

CJP leaders alleged that protesters faced difficulties at the venue, including issues related to basic facilities and checks on visitors entering the protest site. The organizers urged authorities to ensure that demonstrators are able to participate without unnecessary restrictions.

Delhi Police had earlier declined permission to extend the protest beyond the approved period and asked demonstrators to vacate the site. However, protesters continued their sit-in, maintaining that the agitation would continue until their demands are addressed.
