The cloudburst occurred in the Khaljugasar area of ​​Bhalesa, Doda district. The resulting flash floods severely impacted agricultural land; farmers’ standing crops and fruit orchards were destroyed. Several houses and other private properties also sustained damage.

Heavy rainfall led to the closure of several major roads, cutting off the Bhatyas area of ​​Bhalesa from the rest of the region for hours. Torrential rain also lashed the Kashtigarh area of ​​Doda district, triggering flash floods. However, there have been no reports of casualties in Kashtigarh. The cloudburst caused several water bodies in the area to overflow, leading to waterlogging in low-lying areas and soil erosion.
