CM Bhagwant Mann, Arvind Kejriwal to Attend Grand Shiv Bhakti Event in Jalandhar Today

Jalandhar: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, along with several senior party leaders, will arrive in Jalandhar today. All the leaders will attend a religious program being organized at the Sai Das School Ground. The program is being organized by AAP leader Deepak Bali. Renowned bhajan singer Hansraj Raghuvanshi will perform.

Punjab Horticulture, Freedom Fighters and Defence Services Welfare Minister Mohinder Bhagat and Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department Advisor Deepak Bali announced that a religious gathering dedicated to Lord Shiva will be held in Jalandhar on the evening of June 13. This massive religious gathering, themed “Ek Shaam Bhagwan Shiva Ke Naam,” will engage thousands of devotees in spirituality through renowned religious hymns by Hansraj Raghuvanshi.

The program will be held in the grounds of Sai Das School.

Mayor Vineet Dhir, Punjab Safai Karamchari Commission Chairman Chandan Grewal, Improvement Trust Chairman Ramnik Singh Randhawa, Sanatan Seva Samiti President Vijay Sharma, and Rajwinder Kaur Thiara said that this is the first time such a large-scale event is being held in the city. The event will take place at 6:30 pm on the Sai Das School grounds.

All arrangements have been made for the convenience of the devotees.

The ministers said that the Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Mann, would provide all possible support to the organizers in making necessary arrangements for the convenience of the devotees. Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal will attend the religious gathering as a devotee.

The program will further strengthen fraternal partnership and unity.

Describing the gathering as a unique confluence of faith, belief, and culture, he expressed hope that thousands of devotees from Jalandhar and surrounding districts would participate. Sanatan Seva Samiti President Vijay Sharma said the gathering would further strengthen Punjab’s rich religious and cultural traditions and the shared unity of brotherhood.

Punjab government’s support, programs of religious committees

Even though the Punjab government is providing full support in completing the arrangements, the event is mainly being organised by the local temple committees, saints and the residents of Jalandhar.
