During the meeting, the Chief Minister stressed that the safety of life and property of citizens should remain the top priority for all police officials, urging them to remain proactive and vigilant at all times.

War Against Drugs: Police Lauded for Performance

A major focus of the review was the government’s ‘War Against Drugs’ campaign. CM Mann praised the Punjab Police for their exemplary performance in tackling drug-related crimes and safeguarding communities from the drug menace.

Officials reported that over the past four years, 85,418 accused have been arrested as part of the anti-drug operations, underlining the success and scale of the campaign.

Commitment to Public Safety and Crime Prevention

The Chief Minister emphasized that the crackdown on drugs and crime would continue with greater determination, and no individual involved in illegal activities would be spared.

CM Mann also called for stronger community engagement and coordination between police and local authorities to ensure public safety and maintain peace across Punjab.
