CM Bhagwant Mann Targets PM Modi During Visit to Patna Sahib

Amritsar: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann arrived at Takht Sri Patna Sahib in Bihar on Monday with his family. Here, he bowed his head at the Gurdwara Sahib, sought Guru Sahib’s blessings, and prayed for peace, brotherhood, and the well-being of humanity in the country.

The Chief Minister said that Patna Sahib is one of the five Sikh Takhts and the fight against injustice began here.

Questions raised on PM Modi’s foreign tours

During this visit, CM Mann also took aim at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign tours. He said that the government is advising people to avoid foreign travel and work from home, while the Prime Minister himself has embarked on a foreign trip.

Mann said that the Prime Minister should inform the country about the true state of India’s economic situation and foreign policy.

Accuses BJP of bribing MLAs

Attacking the BJP, Bhagwant Mann said that the party is weakening democracy. He alleged that the BJP is working to poach MLAs and MPs from other parties.

He questioned how the BJP has six MPs in the Rajya Sabha despite having only two MLAs in Punjab.

Will not allow any rigging of votes: CM Mann

Regarding the Punjab elections, the Chief Minister said that his government will not allow any rigging of votes. He said that party volunteers have been given clear instructions to monitor activities such as cutting genuine votes and creating fake votes.

Attack on the government over inflation and oil prices

CM Mann also attacked the central government over rising inflation, petrol, diesel, and gas prices. He said that prices were under control during the elections, but are now rising continuously.

He alleged that the government is trying to hide its failures by using the Gulf War as an excuse.
