The Class 8 results were declared on Friday. A total of 262,966 students from 10,422 schools appeared for the examination. Of these, 253,789 students were successful (promoted). Thus, the overall pass percentage for the examination stood at 96.51%. Tamanna secured a perfect score of 600 out of 600 marks (100%).
