Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has given his first-ever reaction to a viral video allegedly showing him in a controversial light, dismissing it as “completely fake.”
CM Mann accused the opposition of spreading doctored videos to mislead the public. He said that such tactics won’t stop his government’s work for the people.

Mohali Court’s Order to Facebook and Google over Fake Video
a Mohali court has ordered Facebook to remove the objectionable posts within 24 hours. The court directed Facebook to immediately remove and block all such content and similar objectionable posts upon notification from the Cyber Crime Department. Google has also been ordered to prevent such content from appearing in search results.
If Facebook and Google don’t block the videos, they could face legal action. Previously, the Punjab Police issued notices to Facebook and Instagram to remove the posts.
Meanwhile, the accused who uploaded the fake video of the Punjab Chief Minister has become distraught after the case was filed. Following the registration of the case at the State Cyber Crime Police Station in Mohali, he posted five more photos and videos.
The accused has been identified as Jagman Samra.
The Punjab Police have also sent notices to social media platforms Facebook and Instagram regarding the matter, asking them to immediately remove the posts. A copy of the FIR has also been sent to the police. If videos are still uploaded, the accounts will be blocked.
According to reports, as soon as videos began appearing on Jagman Samra’s account, which appeared to be damaging to the Chief Minister’s image, the State Cyber Cell first tracked him. The matter was immediately brought to the attention of senior officials. An FIR was filed at 1 pm on Wednesday. However, he subsequently shared five more videos, all of which were against the Chief Minister.
According to police sources, after the case was filed, he hid the content of some posts.
He then immediately went to Instagram and shared some information from there as well. Police were alerted to this and further action was taken.
The accused has attempted this before.

The account from which the posts were posted has 36 thousand followers.
