‘Will make Madhya Pradesh the best state in the health sector’: Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla

Bhopal : Deputy Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Rajendra Shukla said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the infrastructure in the health sector is continuously expanding.

Rajendra Shukla inaugurated the ‘One State-One Health symposium’ at AIIMS Bhopal. He said that along with modern services in the hospitals, new medical colleges are also being established in the field of medical education. Efforts are being made through various means for availability of medical experts and manpower.

He said that along with the district level, primary and community health services are also being expanded and strengthened. He said that organizing One State – One Health symposium by AIIMS Bhopal is a commendable effort.

The experience of AIIMS will undoubtedly benefit the medical education sector in Madhya Pradesh. He said that interventions should be specifically brainstormed to improve various health standards and strengthen rural medical infrastructure and service delivery in Madhya Pradesh.

Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal, Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Singh said that Madhya Pradesh will become the first state in the country to implement ‘One State One Health Policy’. AIIMS Bhopal will provide better health facilities to remote areas of the state through e-consultation and e-ICU.

Additional Commissioner Medical Education Dr. Pankaj Jain along with AIIMS Bhopal and other government and private health care sector teachers, doctors and experts were present.
