Delhi CM Rekha’s Z security withdrawn 4 days after attack, Delhi Police given charge

The Z plus security given to Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was withdrawn on Monday. This security was given after the attack on her 4 days ago. The reason why this decision was withdrawn is not known. Now the responsibility of her security has been handed over to the Delhi Police again.

Meanwhile, the second arrest was made on Sunday in the case of the attack on CM Rekha. Police said that Tahseen Syed, an associate of the main accused, Rajeshbhai Khimjibhai Sakaria, has been arrested.

Rekha Gupta was attacked during the public hearing on the morning of 20 August at Delhi CM residence. Rajesh, who arrived as a complainant, pulled her hand while giving the papers to the CM. Rekha suffered injuries on her hands, shoulders and head in the attack.

10 more people on police radar

In the case of attack on CM, the police is keeping an eye on those 10 people who were in contact with the accused Rajeshbhai through calls and chats. A police team is preparing to record the statements of 5 more people in Rajkot whose data was taken from the accused’s mobile.

During public hearing, the accused attacked CM

Delhi CM Rekha was attacked by a man during a public hearing on August 20 at around 8.15 am. The accused pulled her hair and then slapped her. The accused is Rajeshbhai Khimji, a resident of Rajkot, Gujarat, who was immediately arrested.

The accused has been sent on a 5-day police remand. A case of attempt to murder has been registered against him. Rajesh already has 5 cases registered against him in Gujarat, including stabbing. However, no weapon was found with him during the arrest. The Intelligence Bureau and Delhi Police Special Cell are interrogating him.
