CM Sukhu flags off Anti-Chitta Walkathon in Shimla, call for ‘Drug-Free Himachal’

A major public awareness campaign against Chitta was launched in Himachal Pradesh on Saturday. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu launched the anti-Chitta awareness campaign by flagging off the Anti-Chitta Walkathon from the historic Ridge Ground in the morning.

Hundreds of people participated in the event. As part of this campaign, which will run for the next three months, Anti-Chitta Walkathons will be organized in all districts of the state. The Chief Minister has announced to make this campaign will be made a mass movement.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Sukhu administered the oath to the people to stay away from drugs.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, while chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” administered the oath to the people present to abstain from drugs or any intoxicating substance, to stay away from Chitta and all other forms of intoxication, to inspire families and society to live a drug-free life, to work together to raise awareness to eradicate the evil of drug abuse, and to build a clean and healthy Himachal.
