CM Sukhu leaves monsoon session, departs for Delhi; will go to Bihar tomorrow

Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu suddenly left for Delhi today (Wednesday). CM Sukhu has gone to Delhi in the midst of the monsoon session of the assembly and he will return to Shimla only by Sunday.

CM Sukhu will go to Bihar from Delhi tomorrow and will join Rahul Gandhi’s Vote Chor Gaddi Chhod campaign. The Congress party has launched the Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhod campaign across the country. Rahul Gandhi is currently giving momentum to this campaign in Bihar. In such a situation, Himachal CM will also go to Bihar and become a part of this campaign.

The monsoon session of the assembly is going on in the state. Therefore, the CM is unlikely to join it for the next two to three days. Similarly, CM Sukhu will not be available for the people of the state for the next few days.

During the Bihar tour, CM Sukhu can also talk to Rahul Gandhi about the organization and the Congress President. There have been discussions about changing the Congress President in the state for a long time. But due to factionalism, this effort is not being successful and neither is the Congress high command able to set up a new organization.

Recently, CM Sukhu, senior cabinet ministers and state president Pratibha Singh met Rahul Gandhi in Delhi regarding the organizations. In such a situation, a final decision regarding the organization and the president is likely soon after discussing with Rahul.
