CM Yogi thanks PM Modi for visionary Budget, details UP benefits

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised the Union Budget 2026‑27, presented in Parliament on February 1, saying it offers a clear roadmap for a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India) and will benefit all sections of society. The Chief Minister thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for a visionary and welfare‑oriented Budget that reflects the aspirations of 145 crore Indians.

Focus on Youth, Women, Farmers and Jobs

CM Yogi highlighted that the Budget includes provisions aimed at youth empowerment, including support for STEM education and infrastructure as well as girls’ hostels in every district, which he said will open up new opportunities for students and contribute to employment growth. He noted the emphasis on farmers’ security, support for MSMEs, startups and indigenous production, and benefits for the middle class and labourers.

Infrastructure and Economic Growth Boost

According to Yogi, the Budget’s focus on capital expenditure, infrastructure connectivity, and projects such as high‑speed corridors will strengthen economic momentum and improve manufacturing and innovation ecosystems, especially in Uttar Pradesh. He said these initiatives would align with the vision of an Aatmanirbhar Bharat (self‑reliant India) while ensuring inclusive development.

The Chief Minister underscored that Uttar Pradesh stands to gain from enhanced infrastructure investment and economic opportunities under the Budget. He said state citizens including women, youth, farmers and entrepreneurs will directly benefit from targeted Budget measures, boosting overall growth and quality of life in the region.
