Cold intensifies in Himachal, night temperature drops below 10 degrees at 10 places

Colder weather has intensified in Himachal Pradesh. Minimum temperatures are steadily falling in many areas of the state, increasing the chill in the morning and evening. Ten locations across the state recorded temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius on Tuesday night. Keylong recorded a minimum temperature of minus 10 degrees Celsius, and Kukumseri recorded zero degrees Celsius. Maximum temperatures also dropped. Today, the capital, Shimla, and other parts, experienced sunny skies.

Clear Weather for These Days

According to the Meteorological Center, Shimla, the weather is forecast to remain clear throughout the state until November 4th. Moderate fog was observed in Sundernagar and light fog in Mandi. There will be no significant change in the minimum temperature over the next 24 hours. After this, the minimum temperature is expected to gradually drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius over the next 3-4 days. Maximum temperatures are also expected to gradually drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius.

The influence of northwesterly winds is increasing: Scientists
Due to the change in weather, mild cold is being felt in the mornings and evenings even in the plains of Una, Kangra, Bilaspur, and Hamirpur. Sandeep Kumar, a scientist at the Meteorological Center, Shimla, said that the influence of northwesterly winds is gradually increasing in the state, signaling the arrival of winter. Temperatures could drop by another two to four degrees by the first week of November.

Maximum Temperature: On Tuesday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 30.7 degrees Celsius in Una, 28.7 in Bilaspur, 27.1 in Dharamshala, 27.0 in Kangra, 26.3 in Nahan, 24.7 in Mandi, 24.5 in Solan, 19.8 in Shimla, and 18.7 in Manali.
