Chandigarh and Punjab’s air is polluted

At 6 am, most cities in Punjab recorded an Air Quality Index (AQI) above 100: Amritsar recorded an AQI of 107, Jalandhar 136, Khanna 119, Ludhiana 136, Mandi Gobindgarh 128, Patiala 146 and Rupnagar 54.

Similarly, in Chandigarh, Sector 22 recorded an AQI of 142, Sector 25 recorded an AQI of 152 and Sector 53 recorded an AQI of 126.
