College student in Delhi allegedly stalked, harassed, and pushed off scooter

A 21-year-old college student in South Delhi was allegedly stalked and harassed by two bike-borne youths. According to the student, the two men followed her scooter and later hit it with their bike, causing her to fall on the road and sustain serious injuries. The incident reportedly occurred near the Panchsheel Park Metro Station.

Student was returning home from office

According to the complaint, the student was returning home on her scooter from her office in Saket when two bike-borne youths allegedly began following her. The student alleges that they made objectionable comments and followed her for a considerable distance.

According to the student, when she tried to escape, the bike-borne men hit her scooter. After the collision, she fell from the scooter and was dragged for about 100 to 150 meters on the road. She suffered injuries to her face, arms, and legs.

Hospitalized

Passersby helped the student after the incident. The student sent her live location to her friends, who then arrived at the scene. She was first taken to Max Hospital in Saket and later admitted to Medanta Hospital in Noida.

In her complaint, the student described deep injuries, bleeding, and severe abrasions on her skin. She is currently undergoing treatment.

Police examining CCTV footage

According to the police, a PCR call was received at around 1 a.m. reporting the road accident. A police team arrived at the scene, but by then the injured student had already been taken to the hospital.

Police are examining CCTV footage from nearby areas. Initial investigations have not been able to identify the student or the accused. The police have registered a case and efforts are being made to identify the two youths riding the bike.
