New Delhi, May 1: Noida International Airport (NIA) on Thursday announced that it will commence commercial flight operations from June 15, 2026, marking a significant milestone for aviation and connectivity in North India.

Launch Follows Security and Regulatory Clearances

The airport’s operational rollout comes after its inauguration by the Prime Minister and the approval of the Aerodrome Security Program (ASP) by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security. This clearance confirms that the airport’s security systems, infrastructure, and operational procedures meet all regulatory standards required for commercial services.

IndiGo to Operate First Flight, More Airlines to Follow

According to the announcement, IndiGo will operate the first scheduled flight from the airport, officially launching passenger services. Other carriers, including Akasa Air and Air India Express, are expected to begin operations shortly thereafter. Detailed schedules and routes will be released in due course.
